Swish4 Ingredients & Benefits-Innovative Energy Oral Rinse

Ingredients & Benefits

Scientifically Designed Formula

Most mouthwashes currently on the market that are designed to kill bacteria and freshen breath contain alcohol. Alcohol is known to dissolve the mucus layer in the oral cavity and create a drying effect in the oral cavity. A dry mouth leaves the teeth and oral cavity vulnerable and increases sensitivity. Additionally, if proper oral hygiene is not maintained, mouth rinses only mask the bad smell. Swish4’s formulation is alcohol-free and sugar-free, avoiding all these negative side effects. The essential oils in Swish4 also aid in soothing and helping to prevent dryness in the oral cavity.

Swish4 contains Natural Extracts and U.S. Food and Drug Administration(FDA) – listed GRAS ingredients.

Swish4 Rinse Ingredients include: Xylitol, 72mg of Caffeine, Vitamin E, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Polysorbate 20, Menthone Glycerin Acetal, and Polyox N12K WSR.

Xylitol

Xylitol is a low calorie, very low glycemic index sweetener, known to help manage diabetes, weight, and tooth decay. Scientific research has shown that Xylitol is capable of inhibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria while not effecting the healthy flora in the oral cavity. Xylitol helps eliminate bad breath by decreasing bacterial growth in the mouth.

Caffeine

Swish4 contains 72mg of caffeine. Out of the 72mg, 56mg is absorbed through the mouth. Low-dose caffeine enhances focus on both simple and complex tasks, by being rapidly absorbed through the membranes of the mouth. Low-dose caffeine has also been shown to improve alertness, focus, and mental clarity. Historically, scientific research has shown that moderate consumption of caffeine has not been associated with any adverse health effects.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is an antioxidant used to help prevent damage to the body’s cells. Vitamin inclusion helps maintain mental endurance when fatigued or stressed.

Peppermint and Spearmint Oils

Peppermint and spearmint oils have cooling and healing properties. They also work to help rid the oral cavity of foul odors.

Monk Fruit Extract

Monk fruit is a plant native to southern Asia and is cultivated for its fruit, a natural sweetening agent. The fruit’s extract has been used extensively in Asia for its health benefits.

Citric Acid

Citric acid is found in citrus fruits. Sodium citrate and citric acid compromise the buffering system for this product.

Sodium Citrate

Sodium citrate is a salt derived from citric acid. Sodium citrate is prepared by neutralizing citric acid with sodium hydroxide or sodium carbonate. The ingredient is used in food with no limitation other than current good manufacturing practice.

Polysorbate 20

Polysorbate 20 is a wetting agent due to its surfactant properties.

Menthone Glycerin Acetal

Menthone Glycerin Acetal is a natural mint derivative with soothing and cooling properties. It is often used as a flavoring agent for its cooling effects.

Polyox N12K WSR

Polyox is a nontoxic, water soluble, thickening agent. These polymers are essentially tasteless, odorless, and noncaloric.
