4 Ways To Make  Mondays Fun

Make Mondays Positive! We all know that once Monday comes around everyone is thinking “I wish it wasn’t Monday”. However, Mondays don’t always have to be negative and you don’t always have to dread them!

The best thing you can do is plan something you look forward to each week. This way Monday is no longer a downer. Having something planned after your work day on Monday is a nice way to get your week off to a positive start!

Some fun ideas are:

  1. Planning a new fitness activity to do by yourself or with a friend. This could be a relaxing Yoga class, a game of tennis, a bike ride or if your community has outdoor workout classes, you can take this opportunity to participate in one!
  2. Reach out to a friend who you never have time to see. Sometimes schedules just don’t line up, so make an effort to reach out to that friend to see if they are free. You could attend a local event, plan dinner at a new restaurant you both have never been to, or simply invite them to your home!
  3. Happy Hour with co-workers. These days, most co-workers gather together after a long day of work closer to the end of the work week. Try and change it up by suggesting a Monday happy hour instead!
  4. For those of you who enjoy learning new things, teach yourself something new! If there’s something you have been wanting to learn but just don’t have time, use Mondays to teach yourself one thing. Over the course of a few weeks you’ll sure to be a master at your new technique!
